The Generali Edge:

Unlike many providers who require purchase within 14 days of deposit, Generali's Premium Plan allows you to secure a Pre-Existing Condition Waiver if you purchase the plan within 24 hours of your final trip payment.

Three Tiers of Protection

  • Standard Plan (Essential Protection): A budget-friendly option covering the essentials, including 100% trip cancellation, 125% interruption, and $50,000 for medical/dental emergencies. Includes $1,000 for baggage and $500 for missed connections.
  • Preferred Plan (The Balanced Choice): Increases trip interruption to 150% and medical/dental to $150,000. Features higher limits for baggage ($1,500), baggage delay ($300), and missed connections ($750). It also adds Sporting Equipment Coverage ($1,500).
  • Premium Plan (Maximum Peace of Mind): The top-tier offering with 175% interruption and $250,000 medical limits. Provides the highest protection for baggage ($2,000), missed connections ($1,000), and sporting gear ($2,000). Only this plan includes the Pre-Existing Condition Waiver (when eligibility requirements are met) and is the only tier eligible for the optional Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) upgrade.

The 10-Day "Free Look": Generali provides a 10-day right to examine your policy. You can cancel within 10 days of receipt for a full refund, provided you have not yet started your trip or filed a claim.
